Am I Really Ready?

Am I truly ready?
To find not what makes me happy or helps me live long
To find that which neither helps to protect me 
Or give me any advantage whatsoever

Am I ready to find that which challenges everything I have ever believed in
Can I face that which renders valueless everything I have held so close and desired so long?
Am I really ready to know the truth of what is really going on?
