The perception of life as just this and that and separate things relating with each other is not the only way that life can be perceived. The commitment or beliefs in just this manner of living is indeed strong and keeps trying hard to re-create itself eternally, but the simple curiosity in examining other ways of perceiving open new neural pathways to perceive differently where the sense of separation and fear and greed is not as strong and where time is not the constant saviour for pain and fear. Alongside this it’s also possible that the mind goes all the way to the source of all perception which is the common ground of aliveness or life itself which is too immediate to be even perceived through the lens of any separation or any measurement. Yet beyond is the unmovable void which is entirely impersonal and the feeling comes - there is something that never ends because it never begins. I am a temporary illusion and the play of perceptions is endless within this illusory play. There’s no intention left to change it beyond a point but I find the shifting out of the acute separation perception and its suffering is a very worthy albeit illusory benefit of this investigation and curiosity.
