It Is Simpler Than I Know
A thing is as heavy as I think it to be
The more I drop causation
The lighter a thing gets
If I no longer see a trail of time and events preceding a thing
I see it with more innocence
I see it fresh
I see it simply
This simplicity cannot hold reasoning for its existence
This innocence ends its history
In this simplicity all is new
In this presence all is beautiful
This immediate aliveness ends concepts of good and bad
It ends all resistance
And all things shimmer as life’s eternal yet innocent need to play
A thing is as heavy as I think it to be
The more I drop causation
The lighter a thing gets
If I no longer see a trail of time and events preceding a thing
I see it with more innocence
I see it fresh
I see it simply
This simplicity cannot hold reasoning for its existence
This innocence ends its history
In this simplicity all is new
In this presence all is beautiful
