It Doesn’t Matter
Matter comprises my ideas
The greater my knowledge about a thing
The heavier the thing seems to get
Yet always it remains a concept only
My ability to look in a focused manner
And to have words and images about that focus
Is all matter is
The moment my focus is diffused
Matter loses its meaning and form
It ceases to be
And yet
Did it ever really have separate form?
Can matter ever be?
Can the actual presentation of the whole ever have any weight?
Because the whole cannot be thought about
It remains forever formless, beyond meaning and without matter
And what I believed was matter
Never really was more than just a belief or a thought
So, matter doesn’t really matter
Or really take place ever
Matter comprises my ideas
The greater my knowledge about a thing
The heavier the thing seems to get
Yet always it remains a concept only
My ability to look in a focused manner
And to have words and images about that focus
