Can I Break The Pattern?
My mind is so accustomed to life being a certain way
It seeks comfort in what it knows
And enjoys the predictability, the repetitive nature of what it calls life
It fears random events because it cannot fit them into its mould of familiarity
But can life ever be random?
Just because a thing is unexpected does it mean that it is wrong?
If I dropped all patterns from my thinking
If I dropped all concepts of conformity
Could I still see life as life
Perhaps I may then see a broader balance
A balance in apparent chaos
A completeness in relative randomness
